Restaurants in Bar Harbor, Maine - Looking for great food, open to anything!

My husband and I are taking a vacation to Maine in 3 weeks. We're spending the last 5 days of our trip in Bar Harbor. I've found tons of stuff to do, but I'm having a hard time wading through all the reviews of restaurants. Even top scoring places on Yelp and TripAdvisor have very mixed reports. I've found articles online but many contradict each other. For example, some places say the Reading Room is great and others say it is terrible. I've searched on these boards for Bar Harbor specifically and most of the posts are years old.

What we are looking for: Places for lunches and dinners with amazing food.

We have very few requirements other than good food. We don't care about price, we'll spend $200 or $10. The place has to be sanitary but otherwise we don't care about the atmosphere/ambiance. We're equally comfortable in places with white tablecloths or at roadside shacks. We'll eat just about anything - no allergies, no food is off-limits, and we like all different types of ethnic food. As long as servers aren't flat out rude, we don't care much about service. It doesn't matter if the places serves alcohol or not. We like a drink now and then but it's not a requirement.

I'm perfectly willing to make reservations in advance. We've got all our reservations made for Kennebunkport and Rockland (first part of the trip) and I would like to do the same for Bar Harbor.

Could you help us out with some recommendations? Recommendations for favorite menu items are also appreciated.

Thank you!
