Tried a couple things today (takeout) from this place. (Columbia Pike and Four Mile Run) It's one of Tyler Cowan's "Top Ten" in his fall 2002 Dining Guide.
I'm not an expert on Salvadorean cuisine, but I *greatly* enjoyed my pupusa con loroco (which I had to look up to discover is a "spicy plant bud") y queso and my tamale con elote. I had them leave off the crema because I don't like sour cream. Only when I was sitting in my office enjoying my yummy and extremely inexpensive lunch ($3.30) did I think that maybe it really was crema and not sour cream ... a lost opportunity.
I also had fun watching the Spanish soap operas while they prepared my food. 8-)
