In a reply below I mentioned two three stars that I have had incredible meals at: Dal Pescatore near Mantova, Italy and El Raco de con Fabes which is about 40 miles west of Barcelona. I have not been to Gambero Rosso but friends of mine have told me that it may be even better than Dal Pescatore. I have also read numerous posts on here about France (too many to mention), extraordinary three stars in Dusseldorf and El Bulli in Roses, Spain which I have been fortunate to have visited. I have been to Gordon Ramsey as well as Tante Claire and done a bit of justice to Belgium. In the U. S. I believe that I've done my best to expand my belt on both coasts from The Inn at Little Washington to the French Laundry with stops in New York and Chicago.
I'm just wondering what others' opinions might be on this topic?
