Restaurant Week at Pigalle

My wife and I just went to Pigalle. Terribly disappointed with the service: waited 30 minutes past our reservation time for a table, took another 20 to get apps, then another 20 to get main course. Indifferent wait staff, others may say "coolly professional". There were other reasons the service suffered, but rather than nitpick, I'd rather just say the service was mediocre at best.
The food, however, was excellent. Well prepared, creative combinations, good portions (except for dessert, maybe, but we were stuffed by then anyway). The decor is very nice -- subdued, lots of earth colors, very warm, romantic. Overall, I might be willing to chalk the service up to restaurant week craziness (but then again, they should have been on best behavior to lure in the new customers), especially since the food was so good, but I am tempted to look elsewhere....

Appetizers: Duck Livers in Parmesan Risotto ; Harvest Tomato Soup
Main: Crispy Half Duck with mashed potatoes; Steak Frites with creamed spinach
Dessert: Vanilla Tapioca with Granola and Blueberries ; Chocolate Souffle Tart
