Restaurant Week Lunch - Philly

Since there is still another week to go, I thought I should mention our lunch at LaCroix.
It was delightful!

The menu selections were very good. I had a wonderful grilled Caesar salad; the others loved the warm fennel soup.

There were three entree choices: a seafood tagine, chicken breast with polenta, and a wild rice risotto. All were excellent. Delicious breads, also.

Dessert was mini-pastries. We were given a plate of them for the table; we asked for more, no problem.

The place was quiet, comfortable and beautiful. We all felt we wanted to come back, even at full price. (We'll think about that!)

I am wary of restaurant week and don't run to make reservations, but this one turned out to be a winner.

I hope others report back. Good to know for future reference.
