Restaurant week lunch at Hamersley's

My first trip to Hamersley's Bistro, and I really enjoyed it. We started with some tasty, biscuity rolls. I asked about them, and the waitress said they usually make their own but for RW they got the rolls from Flour. We stopped by there after lunch and picked up some more. For reference, they are country rolls.

The rest of the menu:

Appetizers: mixed greens with house dressing (didn't try)
Salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, and fried goat cheese (yum! The goat cheese really made the salad.)
Grilled mushroom and garlic sandwich (Not really a sandwich; mostly mushrooms with little toasts. Tasty, but a little greasy after a while. Good to share.)

Main: grilled beef tenderloin with (asparagus?), hazelnuts, and bleu cheese (didn't try)
Spice-rubbed salmon with corn, green beans, and tomatoes in a basil vinaigrette (Good, but I thought the vinaigrette was a little too strong and overpowered the salmon)
Roast chicken with garlic, parsley, and lemon (Signature dish -- really good.)

Dessert: Trio of summer sorbets (apricot, cherry, and lime)
Chocolate chip ice cream cake with candied almonds (didn't try)
Lemon-thyme strawberry shortcake with vanilla ice cream (Not bad; my shortcake was kind of hard and dry, but my friend's was okay.)

It didn't blow me away, but we did have a thoroughly enjoyable meal with excellent service. It was a bargain at twenty bucks.
