Restaurant Week 2008 plan and tips =)

Just thought I'd add here incase some may not know...dont always go by opentable.com to make reservations (though you do get 100 points per reservation, etc)...a lot of times when you call, you can find a way to get yourself booked for a reservation or even put on a waiting list or find that they can squeeze you into a time on a certain date...

It works with some restaurants and not others ofcourse...but dont be disheartened if you cant get a reservation for RW at some of the more difficult places like Vidalia, Tenpehn, etc.

I had to call Vidalia, then check opentable.com for every day during restaurant week like a couple hours each time and finally came upon a cancellation reservation time slot for 9:45pm Monday...not the ideal time for dinner but during restaurant week...i tend to always book a few days or a week before it starts and find myself with reservations in the 9pm-10pm range...which is okay--you can go home after work, nap, then go eat =)

Anyhoo...this is my tentative Restaurant Week 2008 plans:

Monday-Vidalia

Tuesday-going to see My Fair Lady so no time for dinner

Wednesday-open for now

Thursday-Acadiana

Friday--open for now

Saturday-Hook at lunch, Tenpehn dinner

Sunday-open for now

Monday-open for now

Tuesday-open for now

Wednesday-Corduroy (theyre extending by an extra week and I love this place =)

**Also considering:

-701
-Posh (extending into February I heard and they have a nice menu---anyone ever tried them for RW)
-Zola (heard great things and the menu looks awesome)
