I'm in charge of finding a restaurant for a group of about 10-12 people in their early 30's to celebrate a birthday. I'm looking for a restaurant that has a fun atmosphere and (at least) above average food. Round tables are definitely a plus. Must a have a full bar. Portions that are good for sharing (e.g., tapas) would also be a good thing. Being able to accomodate a group at something other than a narrow, long rectangular table and a good atmosphere are definitely more significant criteria than cost or location. By way of example, we have celebrated this particular person's birthday at Francisco's Centro Vasco in years past because we could get a round table and the pitchers of sangria are fun to share. Any thoughts?
