Restaurant recs for visiting family

My mom and sister are visiting in April for a long weekend (Thursday morn through Sunday afternoon), and as we always tend to plan our trips around meals, I'm looking for recommendations.

I'm counting 7 meals at most, a couple of which we'll probably cook at home or consist of leftovers.

So, chowhounds, if you had only 5 meals to eat in Chicago, where would you go?

My family's visited before, so fortunately we're not starting from scratch. They've had/been to Chicago-style pizza/hot dog, Phoenix dim sum, Topolobampo, Gibson's, couple Indian places in Devon, pho in Argyle, Shiroi Hana...and maybe a couple other places I'm forgetting.

I have to reserve one meal for Korean food at my mom's request. Would also like to go to one nice, mid-range restaurant ($12-20/entree).

We won't have a car this time, so will be limited to areas accessible by public trans. I live in the Damen/Chicago ave. area and work downtown.
