Hi,

We're visiting Boston for 4 days and looking for some food recommendations. We live in Los Angeles so looking mainly for cuisines that are distinctly better in Boston than where we're from. Both of us grew up in the East Coast (I'm actually from Boston but haven't lived there in 20 years) and miss good pizza, reubens, etc... We'll be staying in Medford but will be spending much of our time near Davis Square and the Waterfront.

I figure the North End is probably our best bet for Italian and I remember the Indian food in Cambridge was always solid. We love spicy and ethnic, but again, not looking for Korean or Mexican or something that we have in LA in spades... We both tend to prefer casual over fine dining. We prefer $10-30/plate places where food is #1 and atmosphere / service are secondary. We are both drinkers and love happy hours. Is there a tapas place people would recommend? I suppose seafood is a good idea as well.

Thanks in advance.
