I am returning to Paris after a four year absence and the restaurant scene has changed so dramatically that I could really use some recommendations for some reasonably priced restaurants (no more than $100 per person) that an amateur foodie such as myself will enjoy. I am willing to travel off the beaten path for some truly delectable food. (I used to live in Paris so I know my way around) I am more partial to meat and game compared to fish since I have a shell fish allergy but I am open to everything including Moroccan and Algerian cuisine. One night will be spent at Josephine Chez Dumonnet because it hold a special place in my heart but the rest of my six nights there are open. I will be in Paris late Feb. 2011 and Burgundy early March 2011.
I will also be traveling to Dijon and Beaune on my own, so any recommendation there would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for any and all help!
