Restaurant recommendation for mom's b-day

Chowmiaow | Jan 11, 201806:22 AM

Hi, I'm looking for an excellent restaurant to take my mom for her b-day. We have been trying places in Providence for years to eat at and each year she has not been happy. So what else is out there? She enjoyed Red Stripe 2 or 3 years ago. Last year we went to Los Andes and she didn't like that for subpar produce quality. We also went to Kartabar one time and that was not good. We have gone to Spain in Cranston as well and that was just OK, I remember the food was so salty that it was impossible to eat. Is it still the same places that are recommended such as Gracie's, Cafe Nuovo etc. I feel the same places get recomended all the time. I came across Rosmarin restaurant and it looked great on their website but almost no reviews, but the ones I found have been very good. I also don't mind venturing out of Providence. Thanks for any recommendations!
