Restaurant in Pittsburgh for U of Pitt graduation

ippchris | Mar 22, 201507:14 AM     4

I'm looking for a restaurant in Pittsburgh that would be good for a post-graduation party with about 12 to 15 people. It doesn't have to be in Oakland where the University is, but we don't want to venture too far. It would be for a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday at the end of April (maybe between 4pm and 5pm). The crowd is mostly all adults (17 yrs to 94 yrs old!). They're a little fussy, but I'm not looking for a gourmet place. Just a place that has good food, can accommodate a group, and not a chain restaurant. Not big drinkers - probably just wine and beer. Italian food is a safe choice (although we're all Italian, so we can be very critical of Italian cooking ;). Would consider something a little different (Church Brew Works?) but not way out there. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks!
