Sorry - the name has completely escaped me.
The long-awaited replacement to the Pacific East Ocean Restaurant finally opened recently so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant seems to have been completely remodelled - looks a whole lot better with muted colors and a better layout. Service was very good compared to the previous restaurant where you had to wait forever for a bowl of rice sometimes. We had Braised Fish head with ginger, honey ribs and chicken with cashews. First two items were tasty, can't say the same for the third. Just wished the ribs werent swimming in a pool of oil. Liberal use of whole cloves of garlic - so if you are not a fan of garlic, watch out. Huge glossy menu with color pictures of each dish that took a while to get thru. Lots of interesting dishes. Probably worth another shot. Perfectly cooked fragrant jasmine rice if you're picky about that, as I am. Most dishes in the $12 range.
