I've recently returned from some time in Wilmington, NC, and liked the fact that local restaurants were required to list their numerical health dept. rating somewhere predominant - like the front window. High marks were used as as marketing tools, even.
Those same ratings were also published weekly in the paper as they we re-inspected.
While I never expect to see the Phila. area do the window thing, I'd sure love the Inquirer/DN print the local ratings.
In the meantime, does anyone know if the Philly Health Dept. makes their inspection reports available on-line, etc.
