I've read a review in the paper that made Region sound like just my kind of place - rustic but inventive food made with fresh local ingredients. Have any of you local chowhounds been there? Today's my b'day so hubby and I were planning to go to Barbarella in La Jolla, which is low-key, but one of our favorite spots. Now I'm thinking I need to try something new, so we might check out Region. Your thoughts? Many thanks!
