Restaurant Advertising: What do you want to see?

piano boy | Feb 14, 201412:03 PM

A pet peeve of mine is when a restaurant advertises with a giant mug of the owner/chef. It doesn't tell me anything about the food or price or atmosphere of the place.

I don't mind pictures of food or action shots of a busy kitchen/dining room. If there's a promo going on for a prix fix lunch or something I appreciate that I'm being made aware of it.

Should chefs be the focus of an ad? Or the food? Or restaurant news?
