Heard Steven Starr speak at a luncheon today. He was an interesting speaker, who described his sense of theater, and how he got into the restaraunt business after being unable to continue in the entertainment business.
He was truthful about his relative lack of passion about food. I am quite sure that his research has identified large sections of markets for the kind of food/theater he provides in each of his sites.
My thought was, is there a restaraunt in the Delaware Valley that is truly dependent upon Chowhounds for survival? How big an influence on the restaraunt business are we?
