I've been reading about how healthy green smoothies are. But no matter how much fruit I combined with kale or spinach, I know it would be met with that awful vegetable rejection reaction. So maybe a cold soup instead? And I blended:
- About 2 cups homemade yogurt - 4 ounces or so of arugula
- 1 cucumber - 3 or 4 green onions
- Some fresh dill & salt
It is not, I'm sorry to say, very tasty--sort of one note, and that one bitter. Anyone have an idea how to fix it?
I thought about adding lemon or lime juice or vinegar. But maybe that is the wrong direction. Honey or something sweet? It doesn't have to be disguised but i does have to taste good. I'm afraid to ruin all these nice ingredients & make it inedible. Can this soup be saved?
