Just returned from a great trip out there. Thanks for the suggestions and ideas. We loved Boulevard and Bizou in SF and the Martini HOuse in th e Napa Valley.
We seemed to have missed postings for Sonoma except for the Generals Daughter and the other place (french) on the square.
After much brain picking, we ate our lone dinner at Della Santina's in Sonoma and were absolutely thrilled with our meal. The salad for 2- Spinach and Endive in roasted farlic vinaigrette was fresh and fabulous and very generous.
The Ravioli stuffed with veal with a mushroom tomato sauce were delicate and tasty.
I had been searching for rabbit and found it here spit-roasted with broccoli and my wife had excellent Escobar.
We shared an awesome Lemon tart.
They waved the corkage fee, probably because we gave the waiter a taste of our excellent Pinot Noir (Papa.(something)...Perry - delicious.
