Dropped my honey at BWI last eve. so finally got to stop in Laurel on the way back to try pizza at Pasta Plus which is said to be good.
I got carryout--sausage and onions with fresh herbs (basil and rosemary) thrown on. It was about a "B+". The crust was pretty good texture, crisp, but didn't have "yeastiness," more like cracker taste, tho it was certainly a yeast crust. Toppings were good. Cheese was good quality and the sauce tasted very fresh. Herbs were nice--the rosemary was assertive, the basil was not.
On the whole, a good pie, probably not worth a special trip but worthwhile if in the neighborhood. They also have an extensive menu of italian dishes which looked fairly impressive--see the menu posted on their site--link attached.
