Report on Nick & Tony's in Cincinnati

David of Austin | Jun 22, 200407:01 PM

We followed CH's recommendation and ate at Nick & Tony's, downtown Cincinnati. Service was great, but food was less than expected. My Salad was good, but toasted cheese bun was ice cold and limp. Other salad was OK but 1/4 head of iceburg lettuce was not worth $4.00. Soup of the Day, Tomato, was too salty and lacked flavor. We finally had to ask for bread to go with meal. My rotisserie chicken was totally over cooked and dry. It was served covered in a white, cream gravy. (Not even in Texas is that done!) (Guess it was used to hide the nearly burned skin.) Mashed potates were flavorful, but reminded me of delicious glue. The place is beautiful, but food was something else.

We loved Graeter's Ice Cream and will forever fondly remember Cincinnati. Hugs, d
