First night went to go see Walter Wolfman at d.b.a, they were so fantastic. Love the music and the place was so much fun. Our favorite.

Friday went to Tipitina's on Nepoleon to see Papa Grows Funk, pretty good music not typically my style. The place was a bit young and not as intimate as I remembered.

Sat. went to see Kermit Ruffins at Blue Nile, they are very talented would of like it better if they were doing more of their own music and less cover songs. The place was ok. Would try to see him at Vaughan's on thurs. instead.

Then went to Cafe Nigril great reggae band they were rockin, the women had a fantastic voice, don't recall the name, loved the place. Then over to Cafe Brazil great music there as well, fun spot. Liked Snug Harbor as well. You could hang out on Frenchman Street for hours to hear good music. Wish we had more time and took a nap during the day because these places get going late. Off Beat online and the paper was a great tip and source to get the listings and information. Thanks to the recommendations. Sorry that we did not make it to Maple Leaf and Vaughan's on Thursday and missed Rock n Bowl.
