We've had dinner at Lina's a number of times and have always enjoyed it. So, we thought we'd try it for Easter. Well, we loved it! The quality of the food was up to their usual standard of excellence. They had the following: cold antipasto station with cold eggplant appy, fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers, tuna, cold pasta salads and a great tray of italian cold cuts, cheeses, and mushrooms and also a large bowl of cold shrimp and sauce.
Now for the hot items: Chicken Francaise, Roast Beef, Lamb, Ham, grilled Pork Chops, Salmon, Veal Cordon Blue, Steak, Eggplant Rollatini, Lasagna, Cannolloni, stuffed flounder, grilled vegetables, penne with vodka sauce, linguini. All of the above were not served at one time, they continually replaced and replenished with different items. For the children they made (not mcdonalds style) Italian chicken fingers and french fries.
They had various desserts, such as, carrot cake, tiramisu, cheesecake, cannoli, etc. These too were replenished and replaced in a rotating change of items.
We loved it all except for the sometimes long line at the buffet. We did go at their busiest time 2 PM. I know someone that went at the 4 PM seating and there were not as many people and no waiting line. I would suggest to them to move their buffet to another section of the restaurant where the line can go around the tables on both sides. The way they had it set you could only access one side and that's what caused the delay.
Lina was there working hard and making every thing smooth and everyone happy. All this for $19.95 per person plus tax and tip was exceptional!
We have no association with them we just like eating there.
