Rural Gourmet on Route 9, Hudson.
They DO have a remarkable selection, but I would go with a full wallet or a large credit reserve. I can't remember ever seeing a ham for $86 even in catalogs. They have local cheeses, Chatham Sheepherding and the like. I bought some croissants (undistinguished), a Bread Alone (available in the Ramsey Shop-rite) baguette, a tiny cheese with a brie-type rind, runny center, blue cheesy flavor (tasty but a bit odd), and a French camembert I've yet to try. They have a restaurant area and advertise a Sunday brunch.

I went here on orders to check it out for people who love hot dogs but won't eat the usual variety. Beef hot dogs are really terrific as is the slab bacon! Will try other things later. They also bring in fish from Boston on Fridays.

This was the discovery of the weekend. The proprietor is Indian from the East via Edison. On weekends, starting Saturdays after 12:30, his wife brings in homemade samosas, mini hot ones and large ones, and another snack the name of which I've forgotten. I've had samosas in Indian restaurants here and in the Indian neighborhood in Vancouver, BC. Nothing so far can touch these!
