We went to Russell St. BBQ on Russell St. and it was very good. I got the brisket plate with homecut Di's fries and coleslaw. The brisket was a generous serving, lean and fork tender. The fries were small cut size and crispy, and slaw was creamy and tasty. We also got a small piece of sausage, from Youkum, TX. Good but a bit hot, spicy. I got used to it real quick, though. We got the mild sauce which was good, maybe a bit sweet, but good. To finish a piece of homemade keylime pie-Yummy. My bride and I split all of this for $21.00 which I thought was a bit pricey, but I'm used to getting a BBQ plate down in south Texas for $5.00. Staff was excellent and fun. This place is super spottless and decorated very nice. There is attention to detail in this place. I highly recommend it.
