Replicate Bouchon's nutter butter

If you've tried the nutter butter cookies at Bouchon Bakery, you know how good it is. Anyone have any thoughts, recommendations, ideas on the recipe? The filling is especially mysterious - light, not too sweet, while still retaining a strong peanut butter flavor. My guess is that it's peanut butter whipped like crazy with some sugar, with whipped cream folded into it.
