Replacement for Lopez' Fresh Baked Multi Grain Bread &.......More.

I finaly made the move to Bklyn and I was scared that I would fall into a culinary black hole. However I found a great Fresh Baked Multi Grain Bread. Now the place seems to be closed down. HELP! Any ideas with out kneading my own?
P.S. I Love this site even though I'm not a savy message boarder.
P.P.S. I found out about An Ðông 5424 8th Avenue (on the corner of 55th Street) from this board. I thought it was a Korean restaurant(I love Korean food)but I was totaly suprised to find out that it was a little shop selling Vietnamese sadwitches and stuff. I found that when I went to Vietnam. It was unusual to find Asian people eating French bread with spicy and delicious pate. That's the type of food I like. As I'm not the typical meat loaf, ham sandwitch, iceburg letuce eating kind (I love Christo's Steak in Astoria though).

Any other suggestions besides the bread, maybe; good Asian like Thai, Chineese, Korean or southern Indian; good Italian; Peruvian(besides Coco Roco's excellent & pretty authentic Ceviches) Swiss rosti; Dutch herrings; especially in or near my new home: Park Slope?
Thanks!
