Have heard that a Vietnamese restaurant is supposed to replace the now defunct Guiseppe's [which before that, was the much-touted, but very short-lived Metro]in Porter Square. Any truth or further details to these rumors?
I'd love a great neighborhood place, as I live just across the street. However, that seems to be a challenging spot for restaurants, except for the Cottonwood Cafe, which seemed to last for a few years. Don't know if it's too big a space that needs to be sub-divided or something to maintain good ambiance and profit.
