I have a 12-inch WÜSTHOF Chef's Knife. I just discovered that the point of the knife is bent. I called a couple of kitchen supply stores in the area. They suggested that I call the manufacturer. I just got off the phone with WÜSTHOF. They suggest I send the knife in so they can evaluate it, and possibly replace it- though, I don't believe it will qualify for replacement given that it's over ten years old. I was wondering: do any of you know of a different alternative? It may sound stupid but I feel saddened. I am quite attached to my kitchen knives. LOL.
