In late April I will be spending a few days in Sparks NV. Need recommendations for good places to eat. Have heard that Louis' Basque Corner in Reno is great.
What I don't want is: "gourmet" food, Casino buffets, places with spectacular views, waiters in tuxedos reciting the daily specials, etc. What I do want is: regional specialties, crummy atmosphere, large portions, no tourists.
I am willing to drive 50 miles one-way for a good meal.
Will then be driving back to SFO, and need eateries en-route. Thanks!
