Reno: Dish Cafe? Santa Fe Hotel?

While planning a Reno trip for Halloween, two suggestions were (cough) added to my plate. These came from a recent AAA article, so I was inclined to treat them as "guidebook honeys" (those spots that make it into every single guidebook for no reason other than that every other guidebook has them).

However, the article did list Beto's Mexican, a dive I thoroughly enjoyed last year. So I thought I'd ask and see if anyone has any opinions of:

Guess I should also ask about Bangkok Thai in case we get tired of non-Asian foods, but there's pretty good Thai in the SF bay area, sooo....
