Does anybody remember a fast food Mexican chain a number of years ago which went by the name of Two Pesos?
We had one in our area once (Norfolk, Virginia), and in my opinion, they had the best tasting fajitas I ever had. They had cooks grilling the steak and chicken strips at all times, and everything was always tender and fresh. Their fajitas would literally melt in your mouth and explode with flavor. They also had a great little fajita bar with three types of salsa, fresh onions, jalapenos, and even fresh cilantro.
They also had great breakfast selections, including a scrambled egg platter with all types of spices, refried beans, etc., that was absolutely delicious.
This restaurant was doing a great business in our area. However, one day it mysteriously went out of business. In its place now is a Hooters' which, in spite of the "scenery", serves food that I can only describe as dreadful.
I miss Two Pesos. Does anybody else here remember it?
