Anyone remember the Gravity Spot?

Back about 10-12 years or so ago, there was a tiny, -tiny- little place
on Valencia called the Gravity Spot. Three tables, a hotplate, a
convection oven, and a chef making excellent, -excellent- meals.

It's long gone. But aside from the nostalgia, I'm wondering what
ever happened to the chef. He was great -- real nice guy -- couldn't
have been 30 yet. I seem to remember he took over Le Trou after
Robert Reynolds left town, for the short time that survived.

I'm curious if he's still around. The only thing I've found on the net
is a semi-recent review in the Guardian that mentions the Gravity
Spot, but not the name of the chef. The first paragraph sums the
place up quite nicely:
