Do You Remember These Commercial Cookies?

121 Pacific Street | Apr 5, 200609:03 PM     54

I just had a "madeleine"-type moment.

I'm 48-years-old and from the NYC metro area. Does anyone remember a commercially-baked cookie, about 1.5-inches across, that would have been common in the 1960s and 1970s at least, and came either in a small box or bag, and was available in chocolate, chocolate chip, ginger snap, lemon, sugar, etc. flavors?

The cookie was small and neither heavy nor dense. (Far, far smaller than Freihoffer's or Linden, for example, and in a much smaller serving in any event.)

The graphic design was 1960s modern, and the serving size was small. Just a few ounces (2-3?). Help! I can see them and taste them, but can't recall their name.

THANK YOU.
