Remember Aunt Edith's on Ellis/Franklin [San Francisco]

Does anyone else remember the wonderful brunch at Aunt Edith's. It was like eating in someone's home. I don't remember the man's name who owned the restaurant, but it was a totally unique place. He had delicious homemade waffles and pancakes, jams, chutneys and yogurt in a setting of books, persian rugs, mismatched antiques and a terrific jazz pianist on Sundays. I really miss this place and its eccentric owner, who I believe passed away. My question is, does anyone know of a place similar to Aunt Edith's where one can get a great wholesome homecooked breakfast in a laid back comfortable home like setting? I know its impossible to duplicate the place and the experience. I just thought maybe a new and similar place might exist. If not someone should open one.
