reliving our foody past with a 2 and 4 yoa on friday

Not sure what else to say. We're taking a train down to Portland from Seattle for a bday trip and want to do an early evening meal that will taste great, have some options for our incredibly unadventurous 4 yoa (he's already rebelling) and won't be too uptight to allow for the peculiarities of their social norms. Currently leaning towards the little bird. Thoughts? We will either stay by union station or at the ace and will be walking or bussing.
