regional grocery prices

I guess it stands to reason that here in California, the price of produce is often a lot cheaper than in other regions of the country since a lot of it is grown right here. But I've also noticed that other things like canned soup and pasta sauce, which perhaps are shipped in from the east coast, are a lot more expensive than back east. These seem to me to be key items with very different prices. Anyone notice any other items with a great difference in price regionally?
