Refinishing / Repairing Stainless Lined Copper Pans

Hello everyone,

I'm new to this board and have done some searching, but haven't found any posts directly on topic. I was wondering if anyone knew a good method, or had suggestions, or new of a company (in Chicago or suburbs) that will repair stainless-lined cookware.

I have a bunch of Falk copper pans that are lined with stainless (not the tin ones), and I was cleaning one, and foolishly didn't pay attention to the sponge. It was one of those scotch brite green-yellow sponge. Turns out there's steel threads or something in the scrubber side of the sponge and it scratched up the stainless lining of the pan. They aren't deep scratches or anything, but I still don't like them, and am worried they might cause food to stick. So I'd like to reapir them if possible.

I read some other sites for stainless repair and some suggestions were to use really fine grit sandpaper and polish, etc, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know of a way to repair the scratches or have any suggestions? I appreciate any ideas, thanks!!
