Been to Reel Inn on PCH many times over the years--I think it's seen better days. Had a Sea Bass filet which was actually pretty tasty. Grilled scallops were watery and bland though, and grilled shrimp were barely edible. Fiiiissshhy! Noticed others seemed less than enthused with their orders. It's gotten expensive as well. Moonshadows, on the other hand was a pleasant surprise. We went not expecting much, as I had heard negative things over the years, but it was actually quite good. Very tasty chowder, nice fish dishes, although a salmon filet was a little overcooked, and good service. It wasn't amazing or anything, but given the dearth of decent food along the coast, I'd return to Moonshadows in a heartbeat.
