I was at Reddi Chick today, which is in the Country Mart, at 26th/San Vicente. This is a place that I have been going for about 15 years, and it always has the same high standard of slowly roasted chicken and ribs in a basket of fries, with excellent spiced barbecue sauce. A weekend lunch favorite by many locals, and unlike most of the other Country Mart establishments, it has weathered the storm of constant construction and businesses changing, etc.
However, I noticed that it had gotten a Zagat distinction in 2001. (I haven't been there in a few years) Since when did Zagat note small houndish places like this one?
