O Redbones - where ya gone to?

What happened to Redbones? Has it changed hands? they take credit cards now? one of the charms was being able to write a check if you were short cash.

Granted we haven't been for at least a year or more...microbrews on tap (is this new) ? are good - but - sadly, quality of food isn't where it was in its quirky childhood...

service was OK, but meats were dry, dry, dry...sides - um what sides? a couple of black-eyed peas and a shred or two of cole slaw? a "platinum" 'rita tasted like tinny evaporated limeaid... although sauces and cornbread seemed the same as before.

it's as crazy busy as always (Hour plus wait at 5:30 on Saturday - why wait to open Under Bones at 6:30 when folks are lining the street?) but something's missing and not just the snarly lady at the door - she was always my favorite...set the tone and made one feel as if you'd stumbled into a forbidden tin-roofed shack in the middle of nowhere and you better plan on eating every last morsel on your plate...
