Red Star- Fell's Point

I'd heard a lot about the renovation and because Henninger's was closed on Sunday night, we popped in for dinner.
I was very impressed right away with the remodel-- it is a really pretty space.
The menu was full of tempting casual fare; sandwiches, salads, pizza's, appetizers. We split rosemary fries with our drinks and I have to say they were better than the others I've had in town. My dining companion had one of the specials, sirloin over a hash of crab, andouille, and potato. He seemed happy enough and the portion was generous. I had the pesto and sausage pizza. Thin, cripsy crust and a little greasey but very satisfying.
Can't wait to return to try the 5 other dishes I almost got (scrambled egg and pancetta salad, 4-cheese grilled cheese sandwich, oyster po-boy....).
The only turn-off were the expensive drinks. Wine by the glass was reasonable, beers were pricey and a cocktail was more than I would have expected.
Service was perfect--not too much or too little.
