I'm heading to the Bar Harbor area for a couple nights during the last week of December. I've booked Cleonice for night one and I am having difficulty deciding between Red Sky and Mache Bistro for night two. Neither of their websites are stand outs and past chow boards mention both as quality options. I'm trying to get a sense of which, if I have to choose, would offer a better overall experience. Food First, Service a close second. Maybe it's a draw and if that's the case, ambiance can be the tie breaker.
For a frame of reference:
I'm stationed in Boston and down here enjoy eating at Cragie St., ICOB, TW Food, Ten Tables, Toro, Sportello/Drink. Second Tier: Oleana, Bergamont, Neptune Oyster
- In Portland, I've enjoyed Bresca, Fore St
- In Providence, La Laterie
Thanks for your help!
