Restaurants & Bars

Red Pepper Chapel Hill, NC

Tom from Raleigh | Jan 19, 201601:34 PM     14

When I see a sign that says, "Brisket", I will generally stop immediately and investigate. There's no thought. It's all instinct. I realized that I have a similar reaction to signs that say, "Sichuan hot pot". As a result, I found a newly opened restaurant called Red Pepper at 1704 E Franklin, near the old Blockbuster which is now a bank. I ordered fried smelts which were well fried, perfectly battered and just what I hoped I'd be served. They have an extensive menu of Sichuan stuff at fair prices.
