I took my gf to Red Cat for her birthday last week, my only regret is it took us so long to get there. I know this place is lauded on this board and for good reason. On the advice on several other posts we ordered the tempura green beans as we went over the menu - absolutley insanely good! She had the lobster pierogies as an app and I had the veal ragout; both were very good, I liked mine slightly better. As a main she had the cod and I had the artic char. I was amazed how well they preparred the artic char; the overwhelming taste of the char was matched perfectly by the sauted peppers and sausage, the food blended perfectly and made for an extrodinary taste. For dessert I had the bannas foster which was truly great, it's a must for any bannna lover.
If you haven't been there yet, run! The service was fantastic, the wine very good and the price reasonable for the amount of food we had - about $180 with tip. All in all one of my better experiences.
