Recs for Michigan Avenue Festival of Lights

creativeater | Nov 9, 201112:35 PM

My husband and I will be in town for a long weekend around Nov. 19th . When I visit somewhere, I like to eat food that's traditionally associated with that area as well as restaurants with chefs that have an excellent reputation for creativity and quality. We plan on checking out the following places during our stay:
Naha
Pizza -malnati's for deep dish, pat's for thin crust?,
Hot Doug's - this is the place w/ duck fat fries, right?
and somewhere for Italian beef (AL's?),

And while I hate to narrow my options to a specific location on a specific night, I still unabashedly love Christmas and, ideally, would like to eat somewhere on Michigan ave Saturday night, somewhere along the Festival of Lights route. Any recommendations?

As long as the food is outstanding in some way, I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!
