hi all! we'r former nyc'ers returning to the finest restaurant city in the world (from sf)and we only have TWO and a HALF DAYS to dine!
Already have res's at cafe boulud for lunch, and wd-50 for one evening, but were thinking a "food tour" where we can walk around a neighborhood and sample restaurants (at a bar or chef's counter) might be the best way to maximize our time.
any suggestions for neighborhoods with plenty of stopping points? we're looking for new, unique, New York Only types of places. extra points if you can work in a great by-the-slice pizza somewhere in there! arturo's was one of our favorites...
your help would be much appreciated! it's been four years too long...thanks!
