So many choices.
Which are your favourite shops for bubble tea?
What are your favourite orders?
I've enjoyed some passionfruit bubble teas, royal milk tea bubble teas, and a mango bubble tea that was blended with fresh mango. I usually go to the various bubble tea shops in the Annex and Koreatown (on Bloor).
Thanks for any recs.
We have a popular Cha Time near us and my wife and I like their Coconut and Pearl Milk bubble tea.
But I have to say I prefer the same offerings from Gong Cha at Bloor and Spadina. A bit more flavorful and slightly higher quality tapioca balls in flavor and texture.
But the other place I was addicted to is YGO Lab bubble tea, in Harbord just west of Spadina. It's more experimental, but their warm, Torched Brown Sugar with cheese cream topping is to die for IMO. Even more like a desert I guess, and I tend to leave it mostly in the layers it's served in vs stirring it all together. But I've found it utterly addictive and was having one each weekend for a while before the lockdown.
So far this summer, I've only ordered a half sweet Passionfruit green tea at CoCo Fresh Tea. Which I liked. :)
Enjoyed my brown sugar pearl latte bubble tea from Kung Fu Tea on Bloor West.
The Alley location in Koreatown didn't look nearly as clean and tidy as Kung Fu Tea yesterday.
