So The Husband is recovering from a 48 hour bug or a mild case of food poisoning. He's fever free, but still has some lower GI symptoms.
Now, my mom's go-to for me when I was recovering from an upset stomach or (as in H's case, diarrhea) was the BRAT combo (bananas or rice or applesauce or toast), jello, and rice krispies with skim milk (which I cannot stand to this day).
All of the above are not optimal for the way H needs to eat, except for sugar free jello. Any ideas for GI-friendly recovery foods? I was thinking plain scrambled eggs, but I don't know. Thanks in advance from Nurse Ratched.
